Kim Hart from Politico reports on how the high profile tech star, Apple, inc  has, thus far, kept out of the D.C. spotlight.  This, as many other superstars from Silicon Valley have an increased presence inside the Beltway.  Consider Apple’s lobbying expenditures in 2009, only $1.5 million to lobby the federal government, less than Amazon, Yahoo and IBM. Comparatively,  Google spent $4 million, Microsoft $7 million and AT&T $15 million that same year.  With the popularity of Apple products growing, will it’s current position in the Capitol continue?
