With the political shift in the upcoming Congress, energy lobby groups who sided with the Obama Administration in supporting measures such as Cap and Trade and the Climate Bill now find themselves, at best, lacking the influence they once enjoyed and at worst, may find themselves the victims of payback.  Many Republicans opposed measures being lobbied by Groups such as American Wind Energy Association and the Edison Electric Institute.  And now with fewer friends in power, these groups must now find ways to work with a Congress that may not be so interested in hearing what they have to say.  DARREN SAMUELSOHN of Politico looks at the energy lobby and reports on Who’s in favor and who’s out of favor with the new Congress.
