Los Angeles Airport (LAX) Hires Lobbying Help

laxIf you’ve flown into Los Angeles recently you surely will have noticed that LAX is, quite frankly, a dump.  I know, I live here.   However, that will change as a $5 billion renovation project gets underway.  To help pay for this much needed upgrade, the airport commission is hoping that passengers will help foot the bill through an increased passenger facility charge.  This increase must be approved by federal lawmakers. Atlanta-based Gephardt Group, whose founder is former Rep. Richard Gephardt, was retained to lobby for the increase.
