Bonner & Associates Dropped Over False Letter Incident

bonnerACCCELogoThe grassroots lobbying firm Bonner & Associates has been let go by The American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity over the controversy that erupted after it was discovered that one of the firms employees had sent false letters to lawmakers urging them to vote against energy legislation put forth in the House.  The firm, founded by Jack Bonner, was hired through a subcontractor of the ACCCE, the Hawthorn Group.  At this time, no decision has been made whether ACCCE will continue to work with the Hawthorn Group.
