Ray LeBov & Associates (RLA) offers a full range of legislative and governmental affairs services. At a minimum, RLA will monitor and report on pending legislation and other developments in areas of interest to you. More comprehensive services include actively advocating on your behalf to the Legislature and the Governor.
RLA's principal Ray LeBov has more than 34 years experience as legislative staff and lobbyist. After a distinguished 17-year career as staff to legislative committees and prior to founding RLA, Ray served as Director of the Office of Governmental Affairs for the Judicial Council of California from 1992 thru 2004. As Director, Mr. LeBov led the state judicial branch's successful efforts to enact myriad landmark legislation including the Trial Court Funding Act and the trial court unification constitutional amendment.
After leaving state service, he founded Ray LeBov and Associates lobbying and consulting firm which has represented clients such as California Appellate Defense Counsel and the Federal Prison Health Care Receiver.
In addition, Mr Lebov authored the "Lobbying 101" column for Capitol Weekly newspaper and conducts "Lobbying 101" and "Lobbying 201" seminars on a regular basis.
Mr LeBov received his B.A. degree from Yale University and his J.D. from the University of Southern California.
